  • What is Personalized Medicine?

    Personalized Medicine is a type of medical care that is customized to the individual. It takes into consideration a person’s unique makeup and health issues. This process involves testing, not guessing. It shifts the emphasis in medicine from treating symptoms to looking at the root causes of dis-ease. The goal is to address the limitations that can occur in a more conventional or traditional approach to care.

  • What Insurance Do You Take?

    We currently accept BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, United, Unicare GIC, Harvard Pilgrim, and Tufts. If we do not take your insurance, your visit will be an out of pocket expense but often labs and other testing may be covered.

  • Can You Be My Primary Care Provider?

    We are not primary care providers. We encourage you to continue with your current PCP or find one in your area especially for urgent care issues.

  • How Do I Become a New Patient at Waves of Awakening Center for Personalized Medicine?

    Please call the office to start the process. You will be asked to fill out a brief new patient questionnaire the providers will review to be certain the healthcare partnership will be a good fit and successful.

  • What Types of Services Will You Provide?

    We offer IV nutrient therapy and IM injections as well as an onsite apothecary and the convenient ability to order pharmaceutical grade nutraceuticals through our website.

    Dr. Arena is a board certified obstetrician gynecologist and offers gynecological care including annual exams and pap smears as well as PRP for hair loss and the O-Shot.

  • No Show/Cancellation Policy

    Given the nature and complexity of our visits, we respectfully request that you honor your appointment date and time. We understand illness and emergencies arise. If your appointment needs to be changed to telehealth or canceled and rescheduled, a 24-hour notification is required. This allows for another patient to fill that spot and work on his/her health journey. Failure to comply with this policy may result in a $100 missed appointment fee.
